Best tubeless valve stems?
I have an American Classic on one of my rims and I CANNOT get it to stop leaking. It's really irritating. Anybody have recommendations?

You, sir, clearly need the finest titanium valve stems the gravel bike world has to offer.

the stans ones seem to fit most rims well. (also try new rim tape)

To give a serious answer, I really like the Cush Core ones.

I like the e13 ones because they have a valve core tool built in: https://www.ethirteen.com/products/tubeless-valve

Consider one of the “wide base” versions branded by Maxxis, DT Swiss, Bontrager, etc. they have a rectangular base.

I've got a bunch of Industry Nine valve stems that I'd be willing to sell... they work great, never had an issue with them. I'm in the process of installing Cushcore in the rear wheels of all our demo bikes, so ultimately I'll have about 14 of them- most have been used less than 4 rides, some are brand new.
Right now, I think I've got about 8 that I've pulled. No matching colors if that matters (so far at least). $25 a pair shipped?

i like the stems with removable that came on my DT swiss rims,
i've used orange and they leaked a bit around the stem/rim jhole until the sealant plugged it
i think best might be what ever works best on your particular rim ?Lee Lau - xxx-er is the laziest Asian canuck I know

Can't go wrong with the Stan's ones.
But yeah, if they used to seal and now they don't, it's probably your tape.

I really like the muc off ones.
Also I find if you tighten down the lock nut too much/too tight it deforms the rubber piece and tends to leak. If it leaks don't tighten it even more...

Went with the Orange Seal stem as it came with a wide base as suggested. And we should be good at this point. No more leaking around the stem.
Def wasn't the tape, as I don't have tape on this rim - it has one of those Buttranger rim strips - which I have to say are pretty brilliant contraptions.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Reviving an old thread because I am looking for one of those tools that has a bacon strip inserter AND a valve core stem remover. Have found these two:
Keegan tools: https://www.amazon.com/KEEGAN-TOOLS-...p?ie=UTF8&th=1
And this one from Genuine Innovations: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...KIKX0DER&psc=1
Anyone have a different one or any recommendations?

I have the Genuine Inovations one. Nothing to compare it to, but it's cheap and it works. Only used the plug once, did the job fine. I actually get the most use out of the valve core remover, way better than using pliers. Also good for storing a couple chain links.

I have a pair, but haven’t installed them yet. I’ll update as the trails dry out in a few weeks.
