    Thermarest NeoAir Uberlite - Thoughts??

Anyone have one of these they can share some comments on? Currently on an older (10+ years) thermarest and am looking for something thicker.

Whatever you do, make sure to lay on it in the store. This is a seriously loud pad. Like the Sea to Summit ultra light, it sounds like you are sleeping on a bag of potato chips.

FWIW, I sleep on a Klymit Static V which rolls up very small, is quite comfy and isn’t loud. I’m a side sleeper and never have sore hips in the morning.

The Uberlite is just way too thin. Definitely "stupid light". Way too prone to popping. I just ended up sleeping on the ground half the time I used it, because it was so thin. The XLite is much more durable, for only a few more ounces.

The Klymit Static V is also a good option, I've had one for awhile, and it works very well. Not as lightweight or warm as the XLite, but a good budget option.
