Just picked up camper van, would like advice for weekend ski trips in it

My wife and I are excited to start living a ski dream together. One I have had since I was 16 and she just recently. Spending real time in the high country, on skis, enjoying the mountains God made for us.

We picked up a 20ft campervan and want to start weekending in the high country this season. Later on we will be spending much more time and hopefully one day full tine living up high.

I would love any tips, tricks, info etc from of the resident bums and weekenders.

Completely stoked and excited we could get this to happen before my 45th bday.

Please feel free to share in PM if you don't want info just flying about, or share here.

I know Wolf Creek is totally down for onsite weekenders. Anyone willing to share experiences?

    Go here, start reading:

Ski RV's, who's sleeping in parking lots?

Most CO resorts aren't super van/RV friendly from my understanding so stealth is the move.

Park along Donner Lake this summer. Ignore the No Parking signs. They don't apply to people in the know.

By and large, the PNW is much more camper van friendly than Colorado is.

Stay the fuck out of Tahoe!! We don't want you here spreading lies.

and slightly more serious, Tahoe is a horrible place to try and find a place for your van, especially if there is decent snow. Best to have a friend with a driveway. June welcomes you though.

tons of great info out there...some areas are friendlier than others but enjoy the whole journey. sometimes the most challenging places turn to gold!
