    It’s made and used all over the world. It is stored in warehouses but it is also used within a year as fertilizer. Many countries have made it more difficult to get ammonium nitrate and some farmers have switched to solid urea or liquid fertilizers.

    Yup. That hospital is about 3000' from the blast site. That means only about 2.5-3 seconds of reaction time between seeing the explosion and the shock wave hitting. Moral of the story is always pay attention

    I always figured the reactions of people in movies to explosions like that were bullshit, but turns out Michael Bay was on to something.
