Let’s not overlook that rice. I’ve asked the cook, and the recipe is simple, but she pwns it every time.

You need to get some prison orange scrubs and matching crocs to sell it.

If the last couple of trays were properly plated and posted in the “whatcha cookin’?” thread they’d be receiving praise.

    Kudos to the the chef.

Oh for sure! Echo kudos to the chef!

Man, my cousins’ cousins’ family in Louisiana had a P-farm on their land.

Now, the P of course don’t stand for pea, but in certain company, if it was overheard, it was of course left to interpretation unless further curiosity might arise.

Had to have been 100 acres of fields so by most standards I guess it was basically a family farm sized farm. I was never privy to whatever sketchy Louisiana “laws” allowed for such an arrangement. It seemed like about 20 prisoners ran a farm without much oversight whatsoever, from guards or landowners. There was a bunk house and a mess hall, amongst other well kept but aging buildings like stables, barn and coops and what have you.

Anyway, often enough these dudes would invite the family and neighbors and cops over for a big supper. Some of the best damn food I ever tasted to this day.

Only if my father in law is still living with us and I need to be my passive aggressive self. Otherwise the trays will be funny enough by themselves.

Pope approved Friday fish dinner, BTS rejected for lack of fruit.

Next tray in the stack had pears. It’s hard to find good help these days.

I hope to make it across the border. I hope to see my friend and shake his hand. I hope that Malt Vinegar is as amber and tart as it has been in my dreams. I hope.

You take the green tray, you wake up your bed and believe whatever you want to believe.

You take the red tray, you stay in jail and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. (Plus your condiments don’t co-mingle)
