That could be another contest--but potentially harder to verify with aliases and such.

I was just curious, based on your original contest announcement. I just assumed you were going to tally the winner/loser from the published ignore lists people posted up in this thread.

Jesus, wouldn't that be somethun! I'll bet only 1/4 of the participants actually ski or board though. Hey, bet it'd be fun in the pub.

Mask in the lift lines and base area? Sure, hell I didn't have to wear it on the lift but when your mask is this cool, why not?

Hangover (furthest run RIGHT in the photo) was my target of choice yesterday with 8 descents. It never disapointed with about 40 centons in previous coupla days.

My weapon of choice was this sweet Hovercraft. Funny story, the guy who I bought it from won it in a contest from Jones - describe your best day or something. He gets the prize but doesn't board. He asks if I'm interested and I am in dire need of a pow board. He sells it to me for a coupla hundred buck, and I've been happy as a clam on this puppy for about 7 years now. Thanks Matt!

Hangover again. It's middle right. Oh and the sun comes out at the end of the day (it was storming most of the day). Good solstice for us pagans up here.

and, thanks for the congrats lads.

That mask is terrific. The look fits in with the snowboard thing you're doing. I think I'll get one too. The mask, not the board.

Those are A level conditions up there. Solid work Gary. It's gonna be a rainy Xmas here so keep the BC stoke coming.

Fuck, I'm the shitiest skating prairie boy there is. My kid taught me to skate backwords when he was 6 (and I was 45). I'm a bad canadian (with the coolest mask in the region). Say hi to ACH for me!

Thanks Grinch, say hi to Chris if ya see him man!

The TRG Summit thread got me thinking about this contest. Back then I was definitely in the anti-list camp, don't read it if you can't handle it, etc. While I no longer remember the order, I think skidog set it in motion for me. Cono was on there early. I don't even remember what he said that tipped it over. From them on it was all downhill. Gary became my hero.

Also, Riser, you had Benny on ignore? You missed so much fun.

    I know, right?

Scoogz is good for occasional incoherent rambling performance art too.

    And AR? Really?

That's a decent size list riser. I may consider a runner up prize package if we ever run the contest again.

I can never remember who said what so I generally just go with the most recent post I read and if I don't like it I go "oh well" and then I forget again and it's round-and-round I go.

When I saw the initials AR above my brain instantly went to AKRover.

What an absolute kook that dude was, but totally harmless. Seemed to have some fun toys too like a stainless steel hulled sailboat and of course a Lucas-electric Rover.
