Here's how to clean your burned pots with dirt, a sponge and a garden hose.

OMG I knew this guy. Chef Pasquale had his own cooking show and was best friends with my buddy's dad. Chatted with on many occasions. Haven't seen him in 25 years.
Man is he a good soul. Very kind and always cracked me up with his English or as we call "Ital-English"
Thanks for reminding me.

I remeber that.
Once he answered a viewers letter on why he called himself the Galloping Gourmet ?
He explained with a poem and got all serious but his punchline was "mainly because I like to horse around"
That episode if I could find it would be gold.
Also those family films they did where he would end up throwing his wife in the pool always left an impression on me. Fk'n loved that show.

They are similar, but don't seem to be the same person. The one I posted talks about cooking in Torino for most of his life and is now retired, but never mentioned having his own cooking show.
Edit: their names are different, the name of the guy in your video is Pasquale Carpino, he passed in 2005. The guy in the video I posted is named Pasquale Sciarappa, and he's still cooking.Last edited by Nobody Famous; 07-29-2020 at 06:08 PM. Reason: Names

+1 for The Chef Show on Netflix. There are certain episodes I’ve watched probably 4-5 times. I like the play between Roy Choi & Jon Favreau. Choi’s food looks incredible to me.
+1 for Great Chefs of the world
+1 for Rick Bayless
+1 for Simply Ming
+1 for America’s Test Kitchen
+1 for Alton Brown
