I've never weighed my bikes, but did put a guestimate into Strava so that it could lie to me about how many calories I've burned. Guessing 22lbs for the gravel bike and 32lbs for the mountain? Both pretty run of the mill bikes, nothing fancy but not tanks either. I always figured losing 5lbs from my body is better than spending thousands to lose 5lbs from my bike.

Just cracked the 30 lbs. barrier. Stole the crank off my older xc hardtail that I don’t ride much.
Mostly was curious if the M9000 crank with the narrow 158mm Q-factor would fit on the FS boost bike.
Hopefully the 5-6mm arm/ chainstay clearance doesn’t crash. Looks okay I think.

Wonder if narrower Q factor helps with pedal strikes more than going down 5-10mm with shorter arms?
Made a huge difference sidehilling on my fat bike, but that was extra stupid wide.

It should help. I think narrower q is supposed to be more efficient pedaling too. I like the stability of a wider q though. That might be a personal body geo fit thing though. It might be part of the reason the pedals on my eeb take a betting. I think the q on that is like 178

1000 grams = 1 kilogram
1 liter of water = 1000 milliliters of water,
And how much does 1 liters of water weigh? it weighs 1 kilogram or 1000 grams.
And if you had to build a box to hold 1 liter of water, how big would it be? it would be 10 centimeters by 10 centimeters by 10 centimeters.
Simple right?

Who the hell knows what a gallon of water weighs? Or how big its displacement is?

when andrew and I first started dating he was riding a SX Trail that weighed - i’m not exaggerating- 40 something lbs. I was on a trek fuel. those rides were great- no redlining the whole time to keep up like now.
I may need to start doing a reverse shawshank redemption and add a small bit of dirt into his frame everyday

Yup. My pole weighs in at around 30.5. And that's with light-ish tires. It'll get heavier before it gets lighter.
