    Cheap, heavy cassettes?

I'm looking for a cheap (heavy is fine) 11-42 (or 10-42) cassette to put on my wheel off trainer for the gravel bike. I'm deciding between NX and Sunrace. I've run sunrace before but not NX. Price appears to be similar. Is quality (shifting, durability) similar between the two or does one stand above the other?

Is there another that I should be considering? Current cassette on the wheel is an XG-1150 10-42 but don't think I really need the 10t for the trainer.

    Thanks!

    Seth

I have a brand new NX 11-42 collecting dust (takeoff from my kid's bike) that you can have for shipping.

A 10-42 cassette most likely uses a different freehub body than an 11-42. XD driver vs. Shimano driver.

Dan had a similar freehub question and I didn't do a very good job of explaining it. My wheel-off trainer has a standard HG freehub body. The rear wheel on the bike has an xd. The NX cassette that Dan has will fit the trainer perfectly and the range is close enough (11-42 on the trainer vs 10-42 on the rear wheel) that if I shim it properly I shouldn't have to worry about adjusting the derailleur.

So, are you looking for a cheap, heavy 10-42 for the xd driver on the non-trainer bike?
    Just trying to clarify.

    Man, I must be struggling.

Looking for a 11-42 hyperglide cassette for my trainer, but I think Dan has me covered. Thanks!

I’d take a 12 speed Sram NX cassette, PG 1230 11-50 if anyone has one lying around
