I am getting old enough to not be too proud. And after going through the rona and its after effects, I give even less of a fuck.

IME the biggest raft pump you can get is ideal

The place where I fix dry suits has threatened to get me an electric pump to blow up the suits and i'm looking forward to that

Used the blowfish pump yesterday for first time, it rocks. Less than 10 minutes from 0-15psi. All the while I am getting my gear together and figuring out what to wear.

I need a good CF paddle, beater paddle works ok for now.

Great run. My board is not that nimble and/or my legs that strong so I might have been doing a different line, but I would love that river.

Wife has the Radito. The retractable fin is an awesome feature.

That retractable fin is a big selling point for river use.

I have run the Savage in my kayak several times.

I have the Hoss with gummy fins on them which do fine but can still hit a rock if it gets boney. As long as you are ready fo it, not a big deal. Eventually want to get a smaller board with the retractable.

I rode a lift with an 80+ year old back in December. It was his first day of the season. He shared his observation with me that he no longer needs multiple short days of skiing very mellow terrain to feel warmed up and get his ski legs back since he started using a sup regularly on flat water. It is unintentional cross training for him.

Shoulders and upper back too. I have lower back issues, but after a day paddling, my ub may be tired, but my whole back and posture are much improved overall. At least for that day.

This sub-forum needs a new name update that is more inclusive to other flotation devices. Arm floaties are welcome too.

    i guess 3 is a quiver

    the bumper nose is fucked
i did buy a new boardworks kevlar paddle
then forget and proceed to crack a pooper in the skull with it
no damage to either but im sure that carp saw a few stars if not a solar system
    as far as white water

Been paddling out at the marina during shark week. Me thinks I'll be fine. Just a hunch that the landlord is far far away.
