Nice day to get out for a paddle on the way down to visit my dad for Father’s Day yesterday. In the 2nd pic you can see the peak of Pico. Looked much closer IRL, pic makes it look so far away. Don’t think I’ve been up to the chittenden dam since I was a teen up there drinking. Forgot what a nice gem it is.

Wish I could get some on the (white)water pics.

Wow..frothy SUP is impressive and inspiring.

Upper Colorado and the Arkansas are still running here. I'm heading to T-ride in 2 weeks. Hopefully there is at least some mini-golf on the San Miguel. I looked to see if Sol had a storefront. Address is the same as Jagged Edge. I'll stop in...maybe get a chance to ride the new boards.

I've SUP'd the Upper C, State Bridge - Two Bridges at flows as low as 560cfs without any issue. In my exp you can pretty much SUP the Upper C summer-late fall. They release enough water from Lake Granby to keep it going. Rancho Del Rio- Two Bridges was my fav. SUP stretch, I may try to hit that later this summer.

I've yet to do the San Miguel though I'm in La Plata county now. Haven't been on the Animas yet this year either, but that may change soon.

There is no storefront in Telluride for Sol. Jagged Edge carries them as a dealer for Johnny

Creeks have been beating me up the last few outings. Needed a day with no new bruises.

Awesome. I’m heading to the upper C for the weekend. I think pumphouse wave should be in.

Got a recommendation on lower leg protection? Shins are beat to shit.

Padz with a sleeve fit better than velcro and don't slip IME, just like the PROPER sizing of mtn biking padz you need to go to the wall of pads at your bike store and try them all on to find the pair that fits you the best,

and pay the man list no codes or discounts ... oh the humanity

Thanks. Yeah I will try out some mtb protection.

Fabulous weekend on the upper Colorado. At 900 cfs all the class 3’s are reallly 2’s.
Pumphouse wave at 900. After a couple session I kinda sorta got the 5 second surf down.

300cfs on the south platte. Good level for figuring out the chutes. I’d like to do it now at about double that.
