Used the blowfish pump yesterday for first time, it rocks. Less than 10 minutes from 0-15psi. All the while I am getting my gear together and figuring out what to wear.
I need a good CF paddle, beater paddle works ok for now.watch out for snakes

Three piece is nice if you ever want to travel with it. Fit in my board bag.

That retractable fin is a big selling point for river use.
I have run the Savage in my kayak several times.watch out for snakes

I have the Hoss with gummy fins on them which do fine but can still hit a rock if it gets boney. As long as you are ready fo it, not a big deal. Eventually want to get a smaller board with the retractable.

I rode a lift with an 80+ year old back in December. It was his first day of the season. He shared his observation with me that he no longer needs multiple short days of skiing very mellow terrain to feel warmed up and get his ski legs back since he started using a sup regularly on flat water. It is unintentional cross training for him.

I definitely feel it in my legs, calves particularly.

Shoulders and upper back too. I have lower back issues, but after a day paddling, my ub may be tired, but my whole back and posture are much improved overall. At least for that day.

This sub-forum needs a new name update that is more inclusive to other flotation devices. Arm floaties are welcome too.

Did Browns Canyon last week, Fun as hell, but I swam a lot. And now I am in the market for a whitewater board.

Been paddling out at the marina during shark week. Me thinks I'll be fine. Just a hunch that the landlord is far far away.
