    Any entomologists out there?

Saw this fucker on the side of the house yesterday, it's about 4-5 inches across. And yes I know it's a moth! What kind?Name: moth.JPG

I love big moths, but hate the little pesky ones. Sphinxmoth is my favorite, feeds on flowers just like a hummingbird but without the aggression.

My old dog loved to chase down and eat moths. He caught one of those giant grey ones like you posted, and spit it out. It was literally more than he wanted to chew, lol.

Yesterday on the river I watched an osprey dive and grab a trout, then circle above my boat a few times showing off its catch. A minute later it drops the fish and almost hit's my buddy's boat in front of me because out of the blue a huge bald eagle went to snatch it out of its talons. Was quite the splash and general site to see from directly below it. A mile down the river the monster bald was perched on a railroad pole with a very "don't fuck with my section of the river" look to its beak.

Bald eagles are assholes. There are a bunch of them hanging out here on our section the Snake River. That is pretty much there MO, they hang around waiting for an Osprey to do all the work and then harass them until they drop their fish.

No it's not. you can tell by the curve in its neck that it is a vulture.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...
