Pretty sure they don’t care at this point but some 20 yo parking attendant yelled at me for it once. I pretended not to hear him.

Yeah, that's a pretty long uphill walk from the base area back to road that leads into High Noon or Upper Last Chance! The move is to ski out under the rope and through the woods off Chisholm if you park up there.
Oh, so when A-Basin says "overflow parking lots" will stay closed all winter, which lots stay open? I was guessing they meant only Early Riser, High Noon, and the tiny Paid Lot would stay open...but I am not a local, so I'm clueless about what "overflow parking lots" really means.

They've been parking people down the road toward keystone for a while, hopefully that's what they're talking about.

Yeah, the only reason they should be parking down by Keystone this season is if they decide to stagger parking spots.

Is today the day Ikon finally breaks the silence? We’ll see.

I'm guessing no parking down 6 except for employees but probably not even that.

I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

Ikon is the SEC of skiing. Now all we need are some ski resort mascots.

Come ski Wolf Creek with your unrestricted Premier Pass, only $1543 at preseason sale and then $1927 afterwards. That's ludicrisp!

Meh, it was a bunch of Italians that brought it to the CO high country. Aspen and Keystone.

You sure that wasn't Americans who just came back from Italy/Austria?

Yeah, a person who had traveled to Italy was the early Keystone one, and it was Australians (not to be confused w/ Austrians) in Aspen who violated a quarantine to go skiing. Either way, Americans aren't the only dipshits in the world breaking the rules and spreading the virus by needlessly violating quarantines.

Does that make Epic the Big10?

Because they had a big day in front of the U.S. Senate yesterday...

Is the 20/21 ski season over at resorts already?

Shit, CO blowing up with cases and >5% positivity. Utah even worse. If we go back to Level 1, does that mean ski resorts can’t open?

Not to worry, we have herd mentality to save us.

White House Embraces ‘Herd Immunity’ Declaration

The declaration by a group of scientists opposes lockdowns and argues that authorities should allow the coronavirus to spread among young healthy people.
Many experts say “herd immunity” — the point at which a disease stops spreading because nearly everyone in a population has contracted it — is still very far off.
Uncontrolled outbreaks in the Midwest and West have pushed the U.S. case curve to its highest level since August. Here’s the latest.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

^^^I for one would love to see their plan for ensuring that young healthy people do not infect the not-so-young & not-so-healthy.
