Turns will be made, chairlifts or not. Shut it down, as long as there are hills and snow, there will be skiing.

I don't know how much power authorities have where you are but parks Canada shut everything down last spring and didn't allow anyone to park at trailheads to tour.

There are other places to tour as well but who knows what decisions will be made if it gets bad enough.

In Colorado now, I was living in Washington during the first shutdown back in March/April/May. Access was restricted in Washington quite heavily, but there where still a handful of places were you could get turns in. I did go from being able to drive 25 miles each way to ski to having to drive 165 miles each way there, but it beat not skiing.

Colorado seemed to leave public lands access up to local authorities to a greater degree than what we had in Washington, but you're right, nobody has a crystal ball.

One of the hardest charging skiers I know rolls with no ACL and a hinged knee brace, and he spends a lot of his ski time hucking off shit. Everyone is different.
