I was driving down by Wall and Bond yesterday evening, and it looked like any other summer Monday in Bend. Lots of kids of all ages with parents. Some with masks on, but a lot without. Pretty easy to see how many folks are coming down by just looking at the lodging parking lots. The BW over by Century and S. Washington is pretty full with vehicles on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.

A poma lift sounds like a good idea. Just install a couple make shift drag lifts. Problem, sort of solved.

^I foresee the Poma at Wolf Creek being one of the main lifts this year.

Is this a current photo? Seems like too many older vehicles. I especially like the '70s era Oldsmobile.

Yup, I was just talking with someone yesterday evening when they mentioned how nervous they were about the lack of control over the virus, given there are only about 8 weeks or so left until the weather is no longer conducive to things like outdoor drinking/dining/etc.

It's such shame, really. I remember growing up I always thought the USA was so cool, like the country that set the example for all. Now, it seems like a bit of a mess. Hopefully things swing back in the other direction soon, though.

This winter will probably be one of the snowiest on record too.
