Best place to order A5 Waygu from?

Anybody got a place they've ordered from and been happy?

Quite few places selling, and not sure who's legit, and who isn't.

Snake River Farms, like Porsche, there is no substitute.

Shit. My bad. If you want A5 Japanese, try D'Artagnan. They are legit

    Yeah, thanks!^^^

Might try the Snake River to see how they're doing. And what they're doing is the purpose of my interest in the beef, thinking about getting some Waygu cows, they're just 30+ years ahead of me.

Crowdcow is one i've found for direct from Japan, and might be legit, has money behind them.

Snake River stuff isn't bad, but my only experience with them is Safeway steaks. I usually have to ask them to slice me a thicker one since the precuts are a little thin.

Just had one of their cowboy steaks at a restaurant in Minneapolis, PS Steak. It was all time. Maybe the best steak I’ve ever had and I have had many from some of the best steak houses all over the country.

Funny to see this thread. I bookmarked their website after that dinner and was just looking at it a few hours ago.

    Anyone ever try their pork?

I’ve have some First Light farms grass-fed wagyu - amazing taste and texture. See if any local shops around you are carrying. The meat is raised in New Zealand.
