Fs: streaming devices: Roku and Google Chrome

Random I realize. Have this crap sitting around. Get it out. Package deal if you want or I’ll go onesy twosy. Make an offer.

Roku streaming stick HD: $10.
Works great but remote broke. Can buy one for less than $10 or use the app on your phone. This’ll do 1080 I think.


Roku 1: $5
Still works just fine and comes with remote. Streams at 760 I think.


Google Chromecast: $15
I just never use this thing. Bought last year for work and it sits.



$30 shipped for the lot. Otherwise add in $5 for flat rate shipping (which is actually $7 but whatever).

Just a heads up about the streaming stick without the remote. You can't buy remotes for them (at least I couldn't).

But they still work with the app. You need to connect them to a network with the same name and password as the last network it was connected to. I used my phone as a hotspot as then connected another phone to the hotspot as well.

From there you can use the app on the other phone to connect the Roku to your home network.

From there it works fine and you don't need to go through this again.

Huh. Didn’t realize you can’t buy remotes fir them. Tried to price it right based on the remote issue knowing I was able to get the app to work just fine. Either way someone get this stuff outta my house.
