    Quiver killer / binding freedom

Yeah probably could have searched better, sorry. Am I wrong in assuming quiver killers and binding freedom inserts are functionally the same and interchangeable? In Norway and don't want to order internationally with covid, but qk are available here.

Yeah, same thread sizes and all that. Quiver Killer inserts don't have the screwdriver flats for installation and removal, but I think their style tool (a bolt with jam nuts on it) works better anyway.

I just use a regular M5 SHCS with a nylock nut on it. Put the nut on backwards, so the nylon insert is facing towards the ski. The crown of the nut sits really nicely against the binding insert and doesn't rub on the topsheet as you're going in. Lets you recess the inserts a tiny bit so that the bindings sit nice and flat. Works pretty well for removal too, just hit the insert with a soldering iron for ~20 sec to soften up the epoxy, then tighten the nylock nut against the insert and back it out.
