Heard it was WAY down the list of most popular names.

Next January when they update the Baby Name Generator with census / birth data, it's going to be hilarious to see how far down Karen has fallen.

I'm friends with a few Karens and neither of them are Karens in the meme sense... I think they're pretty annoyed at this point. But they won't ask to see the meme manager, I assure you.

It was a popular name on Long Island and there were several on my street growing up, more popular than Barbara in some neighborhoods.

Ya, friend next door is named Karen. She's not a meme-Karen.

The old girl names are going away. I've met a young Millie (Mildred) and a Shirley in the last couple of years and was blown away. When was the last time you met a Mildred or Shirley that wasn't 80 years old?

^^I dated a Sue for a hot minute, I thought that was kinda weird. Girl, not a boy.

Anyone named Karen is well ensconced in the over 50 demographic now.

I know several Karens in my age group (late 20s-early 30s). They're out there.

If we're not going to name our daughters after dead ancestors--that's how Jews do it--at least name them after heroes. I want to see Ruth, Elena, and Sonia moving up the list, and then maybe Kamala, Susan, or Elizabeth. (Is my politics showing?)

Buddy of mine worked for Kamala. Career prosecutor, non-political. She is not his hero.

Word is she was absolutely despised in the California AG's office. Also not a fan of her backdoor deal with KSL over the Squaw Valley village proposal. She completely fucked us over.

In my wild years I dated a couple Karens, one of whom is one of the most anti-Karen chicks I've ever know. Kinda sad she's burdened with that name.

Women in professional and leadership positions always swim upstream on this. I've spoken with two attorneys who worked under her, both of whom would disagree with your "word is" claim. Both said the slackers disliked Kamala but the career pros liked and respected her. Their worst criticism was that she was aloof at times. Both said she'd be a fine POTUS.

There is a maggot friend of mine who works in that office... so I'm just repeating what he told me.

Regardless, she definitely fucked us on the Squaw deal. I was there and it was bullshit. We got completely blindsided. So not a fan.

My son’s on the senate budget committee and not a fan.

But he also believes in fiscal responsibility.

Woah, Kamala is the only person on the whole committee who isn't a massive fucking shitstain. So many fucking old white men. There is nothing more repugnant on the face of the earth than White Americans.
