    Yeah, he was a comic genius. Always surprised to find out how few people really know who he was or what he did. The Dick Van Dyke Show was one of the best sitcoms ever.

    Absolutely. I don't feel like looking it up now, but the show is biographical for what Carl was doing for "Your Show of Shows", even down to living in New Rochelle, and having 1 boy child. As I recall, there was some concern that Carl should even be in the show because he was too famous at the time.
