Outcast fishing pontoon Info. wanted
I am thinking of getting an Outcast PAC 1000 for fishing Florida Keys and southern bays. Will be used mostly as a Pompano, snook and tarpon boat. Anyone have any experience with these? Looking for info. re: stability in small waves and wind, maneuverability, traction and speed. Any info. really. Would you recommend?

that thing should do fine for flatwater fishing, but it turns on a dime. wind and waves will push it around quite a bit. those oars are a weak point.

It's tough buying something like this without test driving.
What I really need is an inflatable that can be used to fish near the bridges of Biscayne Bay and the upper Keys.“How does it feel to be the greatest guitarist in the world? I don’t know, go ask Rory Gallagher”. — Jimi Hendrix

Two days ago, I was fishing Jordanelle with my SUP. Caught a couple <12" browns and all was good until I fell in and lost another pair of Rx sunglasses to the drink.

That would be able my last choice in craft for salt water fishing. There is a reason you never see them.

^^^ This is nice, but storage and transport becomes a costly problem. My college student son will be using it mostly. He lives in a small apartment with one allocated parking space. I will use it when I visit.
This has caught my attention:

That's like a whet dream, right there.
That outrigger kayak looks cool, but not a right fit. It looks as if it would be an outstanding everglade or bayou fishing rig.“How does it feel to be the greatest guitarist in the world? I don’t know, go ask Rory Gallagher”. — Jimi Hendrix

Another vote for SUP. The pontoon would be a bad choice.
BOTE is the Yeti of SUP fishing. You can do as well or better with a different brand and probably for less money. Customizing it to your fishing methods and conditions is half the fun. Put on what you need and leave off what you don't. Makes for a lighter and less cluttered fishing rig.

If I was going to do it and be serious about fishing from a SUP, I’d go this route and throw a little outboard on it so you can get to multiple places. You’ve also tripled your original expense.
Or, someone had a PWC set up for fishing a while back, think maybe a sea doo, that thing looked pretty sweet.
