trying to figure out how to fit in at tupper lake when I move there in two years since I'm not a ragging alcoholic don't eat hamburgers and don't have a meth or heroin problem
I might be the odd one out and they will all call me a sissy from colorado or a granola from ithaca either way I might be too rad for the townies
and "townie" is a straight up upstate ny saying

Probably the best thread on this website to not have any understanding or knowledge about.

Building 85 apartments in the old factory in Tupper. Raquette River brewing is going to expand their production there too

Raquette river is pretty good. They can’t make enough right now to keep up with demand.

They enjoyed mine for me in solidarity. And brobah was somewhere, you can count on it. Nothing but a good time skiing with mags for the first time.

hamburgers are disgusting gag
more useless information I did not need to know but it's upstate and that is something that every young man has happen to them sex on the shores of a beautiful lake with a young lady in twighlight of the evening that lasts anywhere from 45-90 seconds of pure joy
are they just leaving the toxic waste asbestos and lead paint? Part of the charm?
or are you trying to tell me I missed my window because tupper lake is up the up and up and will be gentrified by the time I'm ready to retire?

The only thing I remember about Tupper is awesome tree skiing, the dead downtown is on a pretty lake and there's nothing else around. Has it gotten better or worse in the ensuing 20 years (other than the ski area closing down)?
I did another 800 mile lap around Upstate on Monday and Tuesday, the pavement on the interstates and big roads SUX. It's like an obstacle course that you can't miss all the obstacles. They're so bad I might end up having to get 18" wheels to replace the stock 20's for the Volvo, we dinged two wheels badly enough to make the car shake over about 45mph and the damn things are like $800 each. You wanna drive the more efficient car but it ends up more expensive after all. Fukk. There was one on Rt 17 around mile marker 306 westbound (just west of Goshen I think) that had a half dozen cars with blown tires scattered over the next half mile. Two had broken wheels and had slid to a stop within about 100 yards.Last edited by gravitylover; 04-07-2022 at 08:30 AM.

Tupper Lake the town is pretty depressing. Falling apart abandoned houses everywhere. All along that stretch of rt3 too, star lake, cranberry lake

What is wrong with me that I now really want to visit Tupper this summer?

you guys ever hear the term "cheewee"?? good alternative upstate slang for a townie
first and only time I ever met M2 he was sippin' a UC, definitely deserves a spot on their socials
and I used to go to scout camp up near Tupper, not much of a town but decent access to the woods, our counselors used to sneak off to the Thirsty Moose Pub after hours and seemed to enjoy that spotmy head is perpetually in the clouds
