Tomorrow most lifts won't be running because it's Tuesday. I got that answer one time from a patroller when I bitched about half the mountain not running with a foot of powder. It was Tuesday, he said, with a straight face.

Ummm…some ski areas do close a day a week to give everyone a break. Not unheard of.

Some nice, fluffy ruts, semi-mogels, mounds. Great day, but felt a lot like work after a while to be honest. Wishing i had my 17 year old legs with me.

Well done. I was about 20 chairs behind you. Gondola was down due to wind. I will attest the wind was screaming in certain places. Gundy opened around 10:30.

Considering no Gondola the line was not too bad the first few runs.

Not Killington. It's why I like the place. I can drive the four plus hours and pretty much be guaranteed that I will have the best experience in Vermont. No excuses. No, "it's Tuesday". I like Gore, it was my local mountain when I lived in Saratoga, but they could give a fuck about midweek skiers. That's what happens when state beauracrats pretend to run a profit driven biz.

Holiday Valley continues to be a very well run resort. I wonder if they'll ever link it up with HoliMont across the ridge.

Holiday Valley specializes and moving large numbers of people very efficiently. It’s amazing how many people they can pack into that place yet the place still does not feel crowded.
