    And good.
kid got two mini chili dogs (first timer) and scarfed them down in 4 bites... then he's looking at my plate and says "I didn't think they would be that mini"

my dinner plate had 5 strips and the hot dog bun. never been to the Troy Ted's before, it's a well worn establishment for sure. freezing inside too, must've been 55 degrees in the dining area. the nice kids working the counter seemed like they were having fun.

I usually go to the new location on western, it's close to the office...

The take away here is he’s there on a Sunday, I’d guess, which is a nice new policy they’ve instilled.

Quick, make a left and head up the pass. There's so much good skiing and riding up there. Well, maybe not this winter but when it snows...

Might as well just pour it out. They were ruined even before they fell.

Been trying to find the old logo for that place for a while - remember skiing it back in 70's.

Back in the "Silver Bullet" advertising days I worked on a Canadian Coors Light commercial, the shit was brewed under license by Labatt's. If it's possible to make a beer taste worse than Coors Light, they sure figured it out. Of course I came home with about 8 cases of "hero" beers, labels were all color corrected and without stupid warnings and stuff like that. I haven't touched anything made by Labatts since then, good gawd it was awful.

I think I remember seeing it on Nelsap or Snowjournal a (very long) while ago. Mt Raimer or Petersburg Pass, it changed names at some point. I stopped to look the last time I went through and the trails that were cut almost down to town are totally grown in. The lot at the top is still there but the trails are tough to spot if you don't know where to look. Since Andrew left I haven't heard much about what's going on up there.

When I did the “beers of the world” tour at Holmes & Watsons in Troy, I came in one night, got my card and the last beer written on it from my last visit was Labatts Blue. I was like “fuck, I don’t remember ordering that shit.” My friend said “You told the waitress to bring you the cheapest option in that category.” I had no memory of it whatsoever.

Move to Lake Placid and not Morrisville.
Though traffic can be a bitch in LP compared to Morrisville.

and morrisville has two hockey rinks!

well, soon to be one. my firm is converting one over to a rec center.

edit: I forgot the best part about morrisville is melting your brakes coming down that 6% grade into town - with the strategic speed limit change to 30mph right in front if the trooper barracks
