Yeah. He was so high, he saw hobbits dancing on his chest. I guess that struck him as strange so he asked me to check. I didn’t see any.

Actually, the bit about the hobbits sparked one of my remaining brain cells into remembering mode. I may or may not have had an incident once where I thought my handses turned into hobbits. Which I thought was hilarious.
February 1986. Purple barrel. Wait, wuht? It was a friend.

Listen, I’m not saying there weren’t any dancing hobbits - just that I didn’t see them. I was in no state to make definitive determinations.

Purple barrel and dancing hobbits. Hmmff. Sounds like my dorm a few miles east of Upstate in ~1985. So close I could almost see it so IMM (in my mind) it was upstate. Sorta.

If that was the inspiration for his IPAs then I’m glad there were hobbits. They are good IPAs.

Remember when there were diy car washes all over? It sux that it's not like that anymore. My wife's new car is black and I hate taking black cars through regular car washes especially when they're covered in salt and sand. That shit gets ground in and wrecks the paint. So what's the Upstate solution? Fuck the paint and wash it or fuck the paint and don't wash it?

Yeah but I have everything drained. It was more like 35 here so there was only an hour or two above freezing. It's snowing now.

DIY crwashes are going extinct? Had no idea. There's one a couple miles away with 4 bays, it stays busy as far as I can tell.

Find some puddles and drive through them fast when it does. Presto, underwash.
