Cameo is like a slightly cinnamon Honeycrisp.

    Excellent eating.

Rome Delicious are best for shooting out of an air-compressor powered apple cannon at a rusted out truck 300 yards away.

Thank you. The apple farmers of the Upstate and the apple farmers of the North Georgia mountains must be two branches of the same family tree.

Honey crisps are the best - no contest. I depart downwards to good old crab apples for chucking at your buddies’ heads though.

And you could probably add ‘Apple farmer in the summer’ as another overlapping circle.

Honey crisps are great but way overpriced. I like a tart apple though, hence macintosh. Also.partial to granny smiths

    Golden Delicious.

Yeah, they are usually like twice as much as the apples next to them. Worth it though. I like the Granny Smiths too but I need to be in the right mood.

Granny Smith with Carmel is the whip.

Also good with pork tenderloin coated in a maple syrup, grain mustard, rosemary glaze.

    Fuck I love fall/winter food.

I'm sure there's some locally-made salve or balme that sells right next to the googly-eyed rock at the thruway TasteNY shop that will fix that right up for ya.

I'm partial to some lesser-known eastern apples like Macouns, Staymans, Empires and so on but Honeycrisps are really really good. And they keep like crazy in the fridge, you can buy a bunch and not worry about them.

I'll have to try Cqameos, I've seen them in the store but never bought htem.
