A few WNY resorts still open and operating. Holiday Valley is stating next weekend is their last days of the season. Holimont is running weekends and will not be open M-F this coming week, again is stating that next weekend is their last also.

Might be the biggest shithole airport in the country. But I did score a cheap United flight to Montana a month ago from there. Same flight from the ROC was double the price. Plus you can only fly direct to Denver on United from Syr.

let me give you a few pointers
drop the utica club pick up a twelve pack of IPA your in colorado now
buy some small batch organic hand made artisinal whiskey
pick up enough edibles to tranquilize a horse
complain about all the people the shitty weather the lack of pow pow traffic the gapers and don't forget all the people who aren't as core as you and always be ready to tell people how long you've been here
drop the happy go lucky go with the flow upstate ny attitude
and if you pull the nyer thing where you actually tell someone to their face what you think of them but do so with no malice (your just being honest) get ready for someone to be offended they will probably get very upset angry and then start to cry alittle bit they will need some sort of hug or affirmation that you didn't really mean it even though you were doing them a favor and called them out on their bullshit

Excellent post Fred. I met that guy on the Blue Sky Basin lift last month.

He was from Denver. Well, he moved there from Missouri 8 months ago, but he managed to have that exact same conversation with us. He was not pleased when we questioned his self-proclaimed hardcoreness and resorted to making fun of Texans.

I think his feelings were hurt.
