Nope. Let's let Timber and company weigh in first. Vibes all around.
My homeboy back in the buckeye state was pulling hard for the Upstates

Yeah, I'm gonna go with too soon as well. They don't even have their own dedicated depression thread.

Big in the Upstates. Brewery in Buffalo. Official beer of the Mafia.
Also pretty big in everywhere else that has a spiritual connection to the Upstates (cold, grey, seasonal depression, snow, beautiful scenery, snow, shared borders with Canuckistan, snow and hockey), like Cleveland, Detroit and Erie, PA.I still call it The Jake.

I've seen people do that before. Two problems: First, ice takes way more energy to melt that you think it does, especially at like 5 degrees and for B, after it melts and turns to water, it just turns back to ice, now in a sheet, covering your driveway like an ice rink. Which maybe you want. I'm not here to judge. But mostly people don't want that.

I gotta come up with something, I've gone through over 50 lbs of ice melt crap already this winter. The neighbor's bushes on the south side grew like mad last year with that really wet spring and it's just terrible, I asked them to let me trim them or something and got told no, again, for the 26th year in a row.

Hmmm. Scratches head thoughtfully. Weed burner in hand. Bushes next to my driveway that cause massive problems for me. I wonder what the solution might be? I just can't quite picture it.

I like where this is going. Good possibility of making it to the national news.

LOL. I scraped up a pile of road salt a few days ago and dumped it into them hoping that section doesn't grow back in the spring. Neighbor thread stuff I guess...

This could help us draw the line. If the news story starts with “upstate man with a flamethrower…” we know that the route 6 theory is confirmed, right?
