Actually, the bit about the hobbits sparked one of my remaining brain cells into remembering mode. I may or may not have had an incident once where I thought my handses turned into hobbits. Which I thought was hilarious.
February 1986. Purple barrel. Wait, wuht? It was a friend.

Listen, I’m not saying there weren’t any dancing hobbits - just that I didn’t see them. I was in no state to make definitive determinations.

Purple barrel and dancing hobbits. Hmmff. Sounds like my dorm a few miles east of Upstate in ~1985. So close I could almost see it so IMM (in my mind) it was upstate. Sorta.

Remember when there were diy car washes all over? It sux that it's not like that anymore. My wife's new car is black and I hate taking black cars through regular car washes especially when they're covered in salt and sand. That shit gets ground in and wrecks the paint. So what's the Upstate solution? Fuck the paint and wash it or fuck the paint and don't wash it?

DIY crwashes are going extinct? Had no idea. There's one a couple miles away with 4 bays, it stays busy as far as I can tell.
