The angle of that vid doesn’t really do it justice. TJ and Dex might have been able to show up and shred Ajax straight out of Mt Brighton, but THE WALL is a whole other animal.

Besides, the Wall is never open and my worldview was pretty much lapping bumps on Yodler, Edelweiss and Champagne from first to last chair.

I’ve heard it affectionately known as Ass Hat Brewing for the same reason.

I was at the epicenter of the Magic Hat thing. In Burlington in the 90s it swept over everywhere. I dutifully tried each flavor. Once. You couldn't get away from the stuff or from their cult members.

Honestly, I think it's me. Many of the small ski areas I've called home over the years have experienced slab and/or wet slides.

    This one slid twice

Magic Hat sponsored our ultimate team back around 2000. Or at least they gave us two colors of t shirts, and our team name became Fat Angel (they gave us fat angel ale shirts).

I'd call it the Palisades Pkwy because like ML says below - snakes and bears and shit.

Dude it's actually pretty cool, good beer, good riding and when it snows good skiing. Just because you can't really make a living and it's grey 75% of the time doesn't make it bad.

Some of that nebulous wine space in the middle is covered with wonderful distilleries too. Oh and corn, lotsa corn and horse drawn wagons on the roads.

That's the cool part about Magic Hat. They did/do a lot of cool stuff. It's too bad their beer is awful. Obviously enough people like it for them to have money to throw around. I don't hate Magic Hat, the company. I just hate their product.

Sounds like we have WNY nearly separated from Upstate (unless the perspective is of that of someone in the City). Still no clue where that nebulous area starts.

The Buffalo News had a snappy piece on the slide that opened with a John Cougar Mellencamp lyric reference.

Thank God Ellicottville was saved from the slide. And the Coug.

I see you expanded on the above Give to Canada zone. Has anyone asked Canada their opinion on the matter or is that still difficult given the shutdown?

I'm beginning to think that Magic Hat is going to be out of its depth when faced with homegrown talent like Utica Club and Genesee.
