I think the Stewart’s rule would rope you guys in too. Of course you have a pretty good legal defense in not being legally a part of NY. I mean- if you want to split hairs.

Now now, there’s a green line of separation there. Gotta be in NY State proper of course.

Other than a lack of billboards, VT could easily pass for Upstate NY.

And for those of you thinking this is just a thinly veiled excuse to post this dreariness map, well ... ok, you’re not wrong.

So back to Rt 6. Sorry ntblanks but we have plenty of cars on blocks here in Putnam County so that metric is a no go. You can hear fiddles playing in Westchester in places like Crofts Corners and Lake Peekskill, Indian Hill where Trump State Park is has a distinct west slope of the Catskills feel to it so yeah, Rt 6 is the line. I don't like it though because I'm 1.5 miles south of the line and that means I'm one o dem downstater suburbanites so I'm filing for an exception since there are two cars in my driveway that don't run.

Read the graphic. That's dark red and it is even cloudier. Looks to be near Conway.

It's probably related to the Rock Pile, but hard to tell on that map.

    ^^ haha

It has to be, MWOBS is an official station and their reports would be part of the data used to make that map. It's cloudy up there something like 80% of the time so that would skew a section to look like this.

100"+ of rain, vog and the whole "earth can split open and engulf your house in lava" vibe has to count for something.

    2. No but a few pieces of vinyl siding don't fit as well as they should. Does moss growing on the roof on the shaded northern sections count for anything?

At least those places are downhill from everything else in their respective areas. Somethings gotta flow their way, how bad could it be. Kinda like NJ east of 287. Sorry Aldo
