As I was driving away I considered turning around because, well, just because but I needed some time to cruise and digest just having found it.

You go that way when you go to Titus? I can't think of too many other reasons to be there.

Matty could be the honorary TGR maggot chef. look up his recipe for bolognese sauce, it's off the charts.

If memory serves which it rarely does at this stage of my life, the classic Nick plate was cold baked beans and the choice was heat the beans or sub beans for mac salad.
The only thing I remember clearly was waking up the next day with bread and butter patties in my jacket pockets

The gold standard plate has to include baked beans, mac salad and the famous meat sauce.
He did it right.

This is why the Upstate sports a fitness level somewhere between rural W. VA and a sumo training camp.

gentlemen
unfortunately I have been advised by my financial backers and advisors et al that purchasing a trailer park in "upstate" ny is not a sound investment and I better off investing in colorado real estate
it has been a long few weeks of back and forth angry bargaining and many price checks
while doing the research needed to back my investment portfolio upgrade I did find a large amount of "trailer parks" for sale especially in their native habitat of upstate ny
https://www.mobilehomeparkstore.com/...ylvan-beach-ny
now the above gem really caused a ruckus between my parents my advisors and me you see I have a specially affinity for sylvan beach it is a special place where yes it is has a great beach a unique coastal beach town vibe but it is a collision of sorts where rural oswego county as well as meth heads from rome ny and the city folk from sewercuse all collide to make a soupy mix of rednecks drunk on labbatts blue my selling point for this investment was that there is one open lot where I could tow a home in for permanent retirement or relocation (or seasonally park and live out of my van looking like a hipster in a sea of whtie trash) yet be very close to family and friends especially since my parents have a coastal waterfront home just down the road from sylvan beach
but alas 250k price tag is a bit steep for someone to take heloc out of their million dollar plus home in resort town colorado to invest in prime trailer trash upstate

yep for only $250,000.00, U2 can be inundated in your very own trailer park with flash floods in the summer and then soaked again with the fucking ice jams every fucking time it thaws…
at least your neighbors are good people though. so you got that going for ya…

you my friend need to spend some time in sylvan beach come on all that hate?
just cause a few people get big headlines for well you know drugs and shit and what is sylvan beach without a stabbing every friday night during the summer and some redneck drunken brawls
I see the beauty as your laying on the beach tanning yourself on the shores of Oneida lake eating fry doe and kicking back labatts

my decades of time at the beach have left me jaded.
first place I ever felt the buzz of beer. them Jehovahs woke me up from a sloppy hangover by pounding on the door until i moved. he said the Jesus wanted to talk to me, i told him i’d send ‘em a fucking postcard. went to close the door and he’s fucking stuck his foot in it. so i opened the damn door back up and threw up all over his fucking leg. them Jehovah‘s didn’t stop by again after that.
fact.

Today I learned about a new piece of the Upstates, Sylvan Beach.
Looks like so many of the "beach towns" scattered throughout the midwest/great lakes that have aged beyond the days when everyone drove to their regional vacations before flying to places became the norm.I still call it The Jake.

ya can’t even ride the damn coaster no more since the wildlife done took over…
they killed all the drinking fun in town by putting a state trooper substation right in the middle of the goddamn fucking drinking zone. there’s dwi roadblocks going in and out of town every single fucking day all goddamn summer long. No beer on the beach.
not quite sure why it’s hey day has passed really.
