I guess Rochester’s own, Chuck Mangione is retired from playing.

I’d consider a road trip from downstate to see him again.
Because rich has nothing to do with money.

I always thought Chuck Mangione was from Texas cause of how much he was used in King of the Hill (or at least the bits I saw)

Syracuse's Jazz Fest was pretty good BITD. Saw Chuck M play there and also Southside Johnny. Free concerts. Downside was I had to endure the Bacon Brothers Band...

    Ok:
Chuck Mangione was a recurring guest star on King of the Hill, which was created by

Mike Judge, who made a movie called Extract starring

Justin Bateman who married the daughter of

Paul Anka who had a bit part in Captain Ron starring

Kurt Russell who played Starlord’s dad in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which featured an ensemble cast led by

Chris Pratt who shared the small screen with Kevin Bacon for the Guardians’ Holiday Special.

    How’d I do?

    That was fucking great.

A Capt Ron mention and Kevin Bacon.

I saw the Bacon Brothers at a place called Bogarts in college on a laugh and a lot of weed. They weren’t bad.

Or we were really high. No one will ever know.

No kidding. I haven't seen Spyro Gura in 30 years and about the same for ToP.

I swear to god I saw Spyro Gyra and ToP at either the Syracuse or Rochester Jazz fest about 30 years ago as well. And the Yellowjackets, and possibly Pat Metheney.

yeah, one of the nice things about government work, you don’t have to give a shit about what the fuck happens if you’re not there when it happens…

I witnessed the most egregious stop n go in history while working at Alpine Meadows. Some lady thought it’d be fun or funny or whatever to ski in a long fur coat. I wasn’t offended at all but the guy on the button was. A whole lot of people on the weasel chair suffered a collective punishment.

Tried to listen to Bacon bros last year at roc jazz fest, just couldn't stand it. We were high AF but bacon didn't sizzle it fizzled! New Power Generation killed it though, G.love too

Metheny will be great, he's always great. Even when he brings out that weird-ass guitar with the zither stuck to it

Drove down from Dayton and saw a few shows at Bogarts. Billy Cobham and Dixie Dregs are two that stand out. I think it’s still in business.

Also drove down to a disco called the Lighthouse. Capacity 1500. Was full of UC nursing students.
