I’d ask you to get me some but I know you are already 8 UCs deep and that’s just a little too much...

I've always had a thing for the end of scenic byway signs. I live right near one. Past this sign, it is just ugly.

Great pic. Right to the point.

I think based on this thread are more like nooks and crannies than corners. It is not Kansas shaped after all, really no Northwest corner of New York, that really is Canada.

Just south of Ithaca, we passed thru Richford. Somebody had a cow hung up between two trees on a homemade rack and was stripping the hide off it. I was considering stopping and taking a picture for y'all, but thought the better of it.

For lunch I had an omelette.

    richford? did someone say richford?

not sure what the deal is but butchering always had to take place in the front yard my guess is the best tree was right there in the front of the house
remember being 13 or 14 I was finally handed the knife and told that as soon as the calf falls down after the old man shot it in the head while it was eating some grain I had to jump into action and slice it's throat pull the head back and make sure it bleeds out as much as possible without getting bucked or kicked remember being alittle freaked out that first time after that it was just part of life but the time when I was scrawny kid and I had to hold onto what must have been a 40 pound turkey while the old man chopped its head off I lost control and the bird was spraying blood all over the place holding on for dear life and getting yelled at

    Jeezus fred.

Yeah, this was a family affair with the kids running around the hanging carcass. I got the feeling the USDA wasn't called for this.

What the holy fuck? I almost get the man up and slaughter the cow or turkey.

But who the fuck raises African killer bees?

Your dad might just be the worlds most interesting man.

I had just passed a cow butchering ceremony and shortly thereafter a supermax prison https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_P...ional_Facility.
I felt I needed something savory not sweet.

    Completely understandable.

There's a lot to unpack on this page. The expedition is really heating up with the weather.
