In Fort Lee they regularly drive on the left side of the road. One has to be very alert there.
I have a story with the Venn diagram intersection of NJ, Japan and NZ that seems appropriate here.
I was in Japan once and there seemed to be a shitload of Aussies* and Kiwi's* skiing there--almost as many as Whistler. Then I was in NZ and there was likewise a whole bunch of Japanese skiing there. So I'm riding up the lift in NZ with a Japanese dude who was speaking perfect english to his friend who spoke less than perfect english. I ask the dude where he learned to speak english so well. He said NJ. He was American. Lived 2 towns from me.
* I can't tell the difference between Aussies and Kiwi's very well so it could have just been a shitload of Aussies in Japan.Last edited by Timberridge; 01-27-2023 at 07:25 AM.

This thread has gone off the diving board into full Upstate homerism. I dig it.
Carry on.

That, or just "bitch."
What threw me off is the Japs wear weird gear brands that we don't see over here. IIRC he was wearing a Colmar jacket with sponsor logos, which I think was big in Japan at the time."timberridge is terminally vapid" -- a fortune cookie in Yueyang

I was a Hart guy for a minute back in the day when Salomon stopped making bump skis and have always been interested to try those ID Ones cause they're friggin everywhere. I was very pleased to see that Faction makes a bump ski. I'll have to check the suggested mounting point though.

PSA
Price Chop in slingerlands is out of uncle charlie.
^ so I grabbed some creamers for old times sake
two observations for the database:
1. this rebrand is horrid. it's like they found the proposal from a 1993 filing cabinet. the throwback can was perfect; but they gotta mess with it...
2. beer is different than I remember it; and not in a complementary way. something off like I can taste the can - this ain't no keystone "bottled beer taste in a can." see #1 above, re: messing with it

I’m not sure any cream ale can be canned.
