I found myself in CNY again this weekend. After making a deal on a used tandem kayak, I stopped at this place for a brisket sandwich





it was a good sandwich





Like a lot of similar establishments, they had lots of seating set up outside. It looks like it would be a cool place to hang out on a Saturday night.



Of course if you zoom, you find that you’re hanging out next to the neighbor’s used tire pile.



But the neighbor down the street has a cool old El Camino waiting to rust away.



And across the way is an important historical site.





And I did buy my boat.



And this

“Fillmore” being a beer in a bar in Moravia in upstate should have been in that Simpsons episode. If it wasn’t. It may have been. Not sure I’ve seen it sober.

Pointing out that this is how Upstate rolls. Even though it was probably 50 deg, you need a "fuck it" attitude and just get it done. Dry suit? Pffft! Shake-dry coat is more like it.
