Might as well- we’ll probably be restricted from leaving the county soon.

Yeah you guys over there in Rockland are watching your numbers go up pretty much every day now. Here in Putnam it's been pretty quiet, a couple of cases but nothing significant.

Heh, RC Cola. That was Pure Michigan for me when I lived there as a kid.

I swear “pop” is midwestern. At least that’s how we were raised for 8 months of the year until we’d relocate south where everything then became a “coke” no matter what it actually was.

Wow, that really takes me back to the roller rink as a kid.

Where ever that line was I’d blast through it again. Just to see if black cherry and clear root beer were as good as they are in my memory as a 12 year old.

Right? Who knew they drained it? How the fuck we supposed to get around on this voyage into the great deep yonder now?

And don't go to the Sacandaga. Totally sucks. ugly. Stay away. Do go to Lake George if you want to look down on people.

Thank God they didn't mention Schroon lake. Practically on the highway.
Oh I quite like Saratoga. I’ll cut a bitch who plays McLean.

Nice. There’s got to be at least four boys from Ellicottville keeping that truck in business out there.

Wrong Stewart’s, although that $2.50 six pack is appealing.

Pop is a WNY thing. Dividing line between pop and soda is somewhere between Roch and Syr. An outstanding map posted early on this thread may point out the line of demarcation.

Of course you are downstate. If you are, for any reason, no longer able to consume alcohol, you are sure as hell not upstate.

Agreed. If you say pop you are essentially Ohio, not Upstate. Though I disagree on the demarc line. It’s west of Syracuse for sure.

Goddamn it pisses me off when people say “pop” for soda.

ThereÂ’s really no need to insinuate. ItÂ’s spreading in RocklandÂ’s Hasidic community. Community leaders are working diligently with health officials to stop the spread of the virus in these areas. ItÂ’s tough. They are very insular communities.
