That’s funny. I’m picturing them taxiing for like ten minutes after setting down. I remember seeing an F-4 buzzing Chazy Lake when I was a kid. It came in real low and did a hard high-g turn a few hundred feet over the water. Must have been visiting Plattsburgh or something. Extremely cool.

@Bmills the current peeping quality in the Upstate really depends on where the boundaries are. In the 'daks or Catskills it's over but in Westchester and Orange Counties it's great. So... if you go with I287 things are looking great, not bad if Rt 6 is your choice but past peak if you're using I84.

I figured I'd missed it. I'll be in the lower contested counties in a few weeks and was wondering if I'd catch any or if it'd all be gone by then.

Just had 3 c130’s (maybe?) do some real low flyover maneuvers here in cow hampshire.

Probably was. I didn’t know VT had an air force. You see lots of cool aircraft going up and down the Hudson nowadays but they’re just cruising through straight and level. Those guys over the lake were really trying to bend that plane in half. Probably would get in trouble for that nowadays.

In undergrad we could get grandes (24 oz) of the local swill, Hudepohl, for a buck. You've never felt so good at age 18 then when you were walking out of the Stop and Rob with two plastic grocery bags stuffed to the hilt with ice cold Hudy Grandes.
