We can be more specific. Geneva is the WNY capital of the Upstate meth network. And, apples duh.

It's OK that you're wrong. I forgive you. You see, west of Syracuse is deep in the busom of western NY. In fact, we claim Geneva and all her apples and meth-heads for our own just as we claim the shimmering depths of Seneca lake for it's ability to hide the scars of the land around it. And by scars I mean industrial pesticide runoff from the corn fields.

You can have anything east of Auburn if you want.

I just rewatched Last of the Mohicans (1992) last night and upstate NY looked amazing and Maddie Stowe was smoking hot.

Yeah they filmed in North Carolina and Maddie is from L.A. but whatever.

They filmed Dirty Dancing in North Carolina down the road from where our own Stealurface will be bumping chairs this winter, and that was supposed to be Upstate NY.

Now we are getting really granular. I agree that Auburn is Central NY, but I think the real dividing point is Canandaigua. Anything east of Canadaigua is CNY all the way to that magical spot somewhere between Illion and Canajoharie, where the Capital District begins.

I think Geneva is the dividing line between CNY and WNY. Geneva and points west are huge Bills fans. East of Geneva is more Giants

They were saying and red states had to quarantine for 14 days before any vacation and all the CMSC skiers where worried because OH was in the red when announced. Now there is only 1 state in the lower 48 not in the red- ME. PA, NJ, CT were being listed as supposed to quarantine but not enforceable - especially if travel was for business reasons.

That pretty much works. Watkins Glen at the south end of the lake is also a dividing line kinda place. So yeah lets call it at Rt 14. Can we finally have consensus on some part of all of this or is this central/western line still nebulous?
