I feel like this requires a bit more explanation. How does one end up with a fractional ownership of a locomotive? Must of been some high pressure sales tactics applied at some point.

I'm guessing you sit through a meeting that is supposed to be no more than an hour, but ends up taking 6 and involves tequila.

Is this locomotive something we could take a picture of and then light on fire? We could turn it into an NFT which are all the rage now.

The Official Argue About Where Upstate NY Is Thread

How is that mid 90s Geo Tracker (upstate AF) still so mint ?

The salt usually creates holes in the fender flares or floorboards in no time !

Having spent some time Upstate as a ute, I found that regularly washing your undercarriage is a good practice.

Family interest, not fractional. It’s wholly owned by my uncle (well, he’s dead now so aunt actually). He inherited my grandparents gas station a few decades ago and was turning the property into a Mohawk valley themed roadside attraction - GE loco from Schenectady included.

I can’t do a nft but here’s a pic of the engine:Click image for larger version.

    Yes, it's stunning nice.

IMO No, Bear Mt, West Point, and the area around the outlet stores definitely not upstate. However if you're a NYC-centric hipster then yes, a road trip to Woodbury Commons is travel to the ends of the earth.

    That's a cool locomotive btw.

That pic may be a bit color enhanced and it's hell to make a left onto 9D from that bridge during rush hr.

Whoever took that shot managed to just miss getting the nuke plant in the background. Y'all just don't get it when it comes to The Upstate do ya... This is absolutely part of it. Just turn left or right on the west side of the bridge and within 3 minutes you're in blue tarp land with cars on jackstands. And you also seem to have forgotten how the southern border is determined by Long Islanders - if there are rocks sticking out of the ground it's Upstate. This puts the line right about the Bronx Zoo. So there.

There's a sign entering Chaffee County, Colorado that says "Now THIS is Colorado". It's like 100 miles from downtown Denver FTR.
A "Now THIS is Upstate" sign would be helpful.
