There are probably some blue tarps nearby. The east end of the bridge is part of Hudson Highlands state park and the west side is the northern part of Bear Mountain State Park. I think the foreground there with the footbridge is part of Fort Montgomery

Brilliant. Just put the sign heading N on 9 from Peekskill.

We should incorporate ski areas into this somehow...
I haven't ridden there, but despite the location, Hunter sounds very downstate!

There used to be a ski jump at bear mountain. Don't know if it is still there. I think I posted pics of it way back.

Visited the old man again today. Afterward I decided to make a stop at Thacher Park. I figured it’d be a good day for some leaf peepin.

    Excellent TR, Brownski.

I’m wondering what would make that Volvo sit so high in the rear like that. It’s not like they took the engine out of the trunk and now the springs are able to fully expand.

Also, is that second blue tarp car a Fiero GT (bitchin!) or a 80s Vette like it’s stablemate there?

I think it was another vette but I went by pretty fast. I think the Volvo's rear end was up on a jack stand. Who knows why.

So lunch specials daily downstairs- I hate to think what they're selling upstairs. Also, where is this? Cause I want to see what it looks like inside for some reason.

Well, it's got 4.8 stars out of 5 on Google despite being listed as "permanently closed".

Maybe that's just what the state thinks.
