Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.

48" and counting. The hype is real.
The toboggan chutes at Chestnut Ridge should be good to go. Straight lines only.

A friend who works in downtown Buffalo just told me 4 inches on ground and streets are clear and wet outside his office. Crazy delta. Hamburg is like 15-20 miles away?

Ha, the Buffalo Ski Club. When my kid was competing on ECS Freestyle a few years ago, they had a team of kids entered into the events.

My buddy in East Aurora confirmed the 4’ total so far and they’re expecting the heaviest snow tonight.

7:00 PM news and weather report was saying 54 inches in Orchard Park area. Record all time ever of the average hourly snow fall for this storm. More than any of the other largest Buffalo area storms and still not over with more tomorrow and Sunday...

The Official Argue About Where Upstate NY Is Thread

77” is the number. More tonight, but just a measly foot or two.

Some Bills were picked up by snowmobile!

Talked to my daughter this morning. She lives in B-ville, NW of SYR. That town routinely gets 3X the snow reported at the airport. No snow on the ground as of about 9am this morning. I'm assuming m2711c lives NW of B-ville and could offer some perspective. But this was mostly a L. Erie event, not a L. Ontario event.

People that haven't lived in the bands may not comprehend that they are narrow and focused and totally dependent on the wind. I've been hearing that Snow Ridge got skunked on this one and Holiday Valley scored less than a foot.
