No, but I've heard good things about it. I may have to get up there this winter.

Every day, for four years, from 13 to 17, I sat on that train, mostly sleeping and very hungry, and always dreaming of the book that was in my hand – homework while procesessing. Right through Sing sing. How many people have met their death there, not on the battlefield where you see plaques, but by generations planted with massive new energy lightning strikes to your brain to solve the criminal problem. Like ECT, but final.

Every day I traveled through its belly, always indoctrinating me that I too will die. Whether that be watching one get thrown in front of a train, one stabbed to death in a car, many OD’s, and hangings, self inflicted or otherwise.

Sing sing sings. And that is how you learn, from your gut up, how to survive.

The true ultimate upstate is being sent to it. You are going upstate.

That is a sentence you do not want.

And that upstate is a life lesson.

    That's the line.

Thats awesome. I've never skied Oak and the way this winter is shaping up I probably won't make it this year. Soon though. Hopefully.

If you debate where Upstate is, you must be from Upstate.

Not San Diego. Upstate California (Sacramento).

Does Upstate start at the CT/MA border or the MA/VT border (if you extended either of those lines out across NY)?

And out of curiosity, does anyone know where the Upper Valley ends (See area along the Connecticut River)? Vermont seems to be caught in between some serious "Upper" decking.

Maybe this question needs its own thread.
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.
