There are already a lot of people here, perhaps surprisingly so. If your kid will ride uphill, you'll still have trails to ride, you could even just ride up Prospect road to get to the CBMR trails. It's been my understanding they won't run the lifts until July some time. Feel free to PM if you want a boots on the ground opinion.

Snowmass is only 2.5 hours from CB and the bike park will be open. Lots of super buff around here too.

Sounds like you’ve decided, but put one more vote in the GO column. The CO mountains will be glorious at that time. Much better than the SL Valley, no matter your condition. I think there’s a Trail Party enduro up at Purgatory that weekend . I think they’re trying to start spinning the lift on June 20th.
