WTB: Boost 29er Pike or Lyric

I've been running a Fox 34 on my Stache but clearance is super tight. I'd be interested in the newer charger damper, but the old one isn't a deal breaker. Will probably replace the air spring with the new debonair spring in the future. Would like 140mm, but can work with anything from 120mm to 160mm.

Would consider a Yari and other forks, but needs to be able to run a 29x3" tire.

    Thanks!

Get a Lyrik if you don't mind the slight weight penalty... I've got one (140mm) on my trail bike and love it. Super smooth and plush.

    Thanks guys!

Yes, looking at pinkbike and hoping a mag might have something.

New appears be more than I can afford. :-)

Thats a greta deal at $650 USD, and if you're worried it's not the right length travel, another $40 gets you a new airshaft length of your choice.

I’m about to install my 160 Mezzer Pro, which would mean my 2019 Pike ultimate 150 boost might be on sale within a week. It rides super well, that Charger damper is damn good. Very good condition, no scratches, smoove as new.

I don’t like dealing with the bullshit of Pinkbike buy/sell. I prefer to set a lower price and hook a maggot up. PM me if interested.

Bumping this back up as I'm still looking. I have a line on a Ribbon coil but don't know much about that fork. Reviews seem mixed. Some really like it, others not so much. Any input?

There are a lot of variations but it seems like I'm mainly looking at:

    Pike RCT3 with charger 2 or 1
    Lyrik RCT3 with charger 2 or 1
    Ribbon coil
    Ribbon air
    Mattoc pro

I was originally looking at this for my Stache, but i my hightower has a Pike which I *could* move over and put something else on that bike that doesn't have the same 29+ clearance needs.

Currently deciding between a Lyrik Select+ w/ Charger 2.1 and a Lyrik RCT3 with Charger 2. I've not ridden the 2.1. Any feedback on the difference if there is much of one? This will likely go onto my Hightower instead of the Stache. It looks like instead of detents on the RCT3 that it's variable on the Charger RC. Couldn't you just mark on the fork where locked out, trail, and full open are?

You don’t get the fine tuning on LSC with the Select + right? Just the 3 positions you’ve described....which I imagine have detents.

Between those forks, I’d suggest the Lyrik RCT3 and then spend $40 on the 2021 air spring upgrade: https://www.worldwidecyclery.com/blo...ed-ride-height

No HSC tuning, correct, and no 3 position switch for LSC. I think the large dial on the Select+ does LSC, though, and gives you more than 3 settings.
