01-21-2021, 08:36 AM #11008Inauguration Day 2021 was supposed to be a culminating moment for the legion of online conspiracy theorists and extremists who have rallied around the now former president. But the lengthy list of prophecies they’d been told would eventually happen under Trump’s watch never came.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

My silver's looking good too. However that sometimes is an indicator in consumers thinking things could hit the fan, so who knows?
Still, I'm quite bullish on this year. The market's super pent up and ready to be unleashed. My prediction? Oil's gonna rally hard. Invest in such commodities, my friends. Biden/Harris (much like Obama) just pandered to the environmentalists to get elected. They ain't gonna do shit about fracking (just like Obama). Once investors realize that it's gonna be status quo, oil's gonna shoot up and hard. I predict $3 gas by summer.

Last night the local news stood in the parking lot of a Tri-cities grocery store and asked people how they they felt about the dawn of a new presidential era.
3 out of 4 people expressed abject terror and feared for their safety from all the illegals and muslims Biden will be unleashing on them and of course..... socialism. One wondered how she would survive the next 4 years until Trump could be reelected.“When you see something that is not right, not just, not fair, you have a moral obligation to say something. To do something." Rep. John Lewis

Qanon are not the only folks whose predictions didn't come true. I fully expected Republican state legislators in the swing states to throw out the popular vote and send Trump electors. I expected Congress to pick Trump as the next President. I expected Trump to declare martial law and cancel the election. I'm very happy to have been wrong on all counts. It was heartening to see how many state Republican officials and legislators honored the Constitution--and in the end Mike Pence.
What concerns me now is that Republican state legislators will undo the early voting, mail in voting, drop off ballot boxes and the like which increased turnout. But in light of my poor track record I guess I'll wait and see what happens. Like I have a choice.

RE: Bidens unity speech yesterday.
“If you read his speech and listen to it carefully, much of it is thinly-veiled innuendo calling us white supremacists, calling us racists, calling us every name in the book, calling us people who don't tell the truth,” Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.)
Methinks the Rand doth protest too much.I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Nope. I meant oil, but I am also bullish on natural gas as well as they historically have gone hand in hand. Plus as coal is being phased out for power plants, natural gas is what we've been leaning on more. People too often forget about HOW the electricity is generated to recharge their Teslas.
As far as oil goes, our supply is now sufficiently down for a proper correction and as people get back to work and society gets back to business, demand is going to shoot up. Our oil crash was very much artificial at the beginning as it had to do with a market battle between Russia and OPEC. That was the first punch. The TKO was COVID.
Plus, remember. Oil goes into a whole lot more than just gasoline. Plastics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing processes, many, many products and services depend on the production of oil.
Lastly, Texas producers FINALLY got on the same page about artificially dropping production and new drilling to drive prices back up. OPEC and Russia are finally getting their crap together. Seems heads are simultaneously being pulled from asses globally. I'm connected to producers world wide and I'm seeing hiring ramp up overseas, and people I used to work for have already told me to get ready. Work is about to finally flow again. Fingers crossed!!!

I thought the whole early, mail in etc voting thing was done under the premise of Covid limiting access to voting, hence why judges and election committee's were able to pass the rules and not State legislatures.
I seriously doubt they will be able to pass that off again, so some sort of actual legislation is going to have to be passed for it to pass muster during the next election. I honestly don't think this is going to be a challenge to do, but who knows, Dems seem more concerned with DACA and amnesty currently and not the golden goose that brought them to power currently.Live Free or Die

Need to check your new sources on that one, PA for example did pass the state legislature https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs...ssInd=0&act=12. My FIL who is a rabbid Trump supporter kept claiming that the the elections in GA, PA, WI, MI, AZ, and NM were unconstitutional because the state legislatures didn't approve, but that wasn't really the case. Carry on tho.
Damn shame, throwing away a perfectly good white boy like that
