Damn dude that's gnarly, and no wrist movement for two months???!!! Shit! That said, everything looks really well put back together. Bodes well for the future.

    Owwie

mine wasn’t nearly as bad, took me 3 months to ride again and a lot of a PT, about a year until it stopped bothering me, still cant do pushups with open hands but that’s pretty much the only long term consequence. the first time after surgery that I removed the splint it felt like it was still broken don’t be discouraged, things get better!

the night after surgery was awful, by far the worst day of recovery!

Ohh. Those pics recalled the pain. Good to hear about the recovery. Matches what the doc said, including the bit about pushups.

Woah, just saw this. That’s some erector set work right there, with a little dry needle acupuncture to round it off.

What kind of PT can you do with that rod in there? Besides wiggle your fingers?

    Heal up mang.

    And mfa, nice metalwork.

Finger wiggles is really all I can manage. Right now I’m trying to stretch skin and tendons closer to normal. Grip strength coming next. No wrist movement until the rod comes out in a couple months.
