DIY Firepit Using Propane Head- thoughts
Have a head off a old propane tank cut off and paint removed. Was going to weld on some legs that would be buried. Cut a hole in for drainage. Tank is 41" dia and about 20" deep. What I am undecided on is to put an air inlet in the bottom. Would it work any better?? Could weld in 6" capped pipe with holes in it then fill bottom of head with firebrick or rock. Head looks similar to pic.

FWIW the firepit I got at a yard sale is a similar bowl shape and it's got a cap and air holes in the center. I havent bothered with fire rock or anything.

Looks cool. I guess the middle piece is for air supply?

I imagine it'll burn just fine.
