FS: Small 2013 Giant Reign (Bay Area, CA)

Finally selling my beloved 2013 Giant Reign, size Small. I purchased this just before entering college and now that I have a big boy job I upgraded. Before it was owned by me it was a rental bike at a downhill bike park which used frame mounted racks on shuttles, this is the cause of the condition of the frame. Make no mistake this bike is nowhere near new and very loved (as the picture should show), but since its rental days I replaced almost every part besides the frame and wheels. Functionally the bike is great, aesthetically it is not.

    2013 Giant Reign (26er)
    Dt Swiss 465D Wheels
    Minion DHF/high roller Tires
    GX 10 Speed Derailleur/Shifter with a Sunrace 11-40T 10 speed cassette.
Guide RS brakes (Lever pistons were replaced with the updated version)
RS pike 160 rct3 Front fork (small nick that was sanded down, seals replaced with no leaks)
Monarch Plus RC3 with 2.25in of travel vs the stock 2in. This brings rear travel to 171mm with no frame rubbing.
Fox DOSS Dropper post (I believe 100mm but not positive)

I'm located in the bay area CA and do not want to ship, happy to meet other places in Norcal or the mountains on the condition I won't get met with a bunch of angry locals with pitchforks if I drop it off in Tahoe.

As far as pricing I am thinking $450 OBO. That is much cheaper than comparable bikes on pinkbike but takes into account the usage and the upgrades. Call me out if I'm crazy I really don't know.

Wow! You're still not interested in getting it boxed and shipped? My girlfriend is interested in it...

Is that a good wow or a bad wow?
My troubles with shipping currently are due to the struggle of finding a box and packing materials...

Good wow. What height are you and what height do you think the bike could fit?

I'm 5'5" and fit comfortably, I think a couple inches in either direction would work well.

i'd love to pick this up for my 10yr old who just hit 5' tall. Like the beat down frame because that fucker is hard on everything he touches and this way i wont stress about his inevitable abuse but alas, i'm not in Norcal.

Anyone willing to hook a mag up with a big shipping favor? Compensation and or trades for the favor?

Not sure what the used bike market is like in CA, but right now that would probably sell for $1200-$1500 in Colorado. Used bike Market is insane here right now. Posted on CL or Facebook Marketplace.

That being said, props if you give it for a good deal to a Mag...

Yeah its a little ridiculous in CA too, probably could get a lot more on CL or FB. But I'd rather see it get a proper second (third?) life. I'll do some looking this weekend, if I can find a box I'm happy to get it up North.

For a beat to crap seven year old rental 26er? That's insanity.

I do think the OPs new price is fair though, especially with the component upgrades.

Really appreciate the shipping and efforts.

Epitome of what GS hookups are about. Props for great communication too!

    Thanks again!
